Enhancing the Children's Treatment Room in Ophthalmology

The improvements, including bright wall stickers, sensory toys, and a fully reclining clinical chair, have helped create a more welcoming, calming environment for children visiting the unit.

At a cost of just over £2,600, this is a valuable and positive enhancement to the care experience we provide.

We are a small team dedicated to achieving big things. We manage all fundraising and donations for the NHS University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Foundation Trust, including the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Furness General Hospital and Westmorland General Hospital also Ulverston, Millom and our Community teams.

We are not currently accepting volunteer applications. Volunteering for your local hospital can be a very rewarding experience, particularly knowing that your efforts are directly helping patients going through treatment. £84,000 donation supports NHS workers in Lancashire and Cumbria
