Cat Smith MP raises money for Bay Hospitals Charity by running the London Marathon

The London Marathon is one of the world’s most iconic long-distance running events, attracting tens of thousands of participants from around the globe each year.

The funds will go towards supporting patients at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS FT through Bay Hospitals Charity, helping to enhance care and hospital facilities.

Bay Hospitals Charity extends its heartfelt thanks to Cat Smith MP and all supporters for their generosity and commitment to improving healthcare in our community.

We are a small team dedicated to achieving big things. We manage all fundraising and donations for the NHS University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Foundation Trust, including the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Furness General Hospital and Westmorland General Hospital also Ulverston, Millom and our Community teams.

We are not currently accepting volunteer applications. Volunteering for your local hospital can be a very rewarding experience, particularly knowing that your efforts are directly helping patients going through treatment. £84,000 donation supports NHS workers in Lancashire and Cumbria
